Yesterday Safari 4.0 came out of beta and is now available for MAC and PC.
According to Apple Safari 4 is 7.8x faster than IE8.
The new browser is more crash-resistant and includes a full history search and a spotlight search.
Next September Safari will run as a 64-bit application on the new Snow Leopard Operating System.
