Built by Instrument and designed by Gridplane, the new Uncommon web site offers you the possibility to select, configure, and purchase phone accessories. Our team helped test all of the front end pages on 5 different OS and 17 different browser versions. We wrote custom test cases to test the User Account, the product configurator, and the Checkout.
Instrument also asked us to test a custom CMS to manage all customer orders on the back end. Our test plan was basically to execute functional/compatibility testing. All front end content functionality is managed through Interface 2.2 and was tested by our team as well.
We have also worked with the Instrument team to execute usability testing on both the front end and back end. Our experience with testing e-commerce and checkout workflow brought additional value to the final product . This was a technical project to test and we adopted a test and fix strategy with the Instrument development team which resulted in success – we came out under budget and the testing was completed according to the original plan of attack!
