TEST LAB

 WHY +QA?
When choosing +QA you are getting expertise, reliability, flexibility, experience and high quality.

Once you are ready to start a project we will work with your team to implement a QA process and create a plan according to the size and the complexity of your project. We will act as your internal QA department by providing test plans, test scripts, and a web-based bug tracking tool to allow any member of your development team access to any bug at any time and in any location.

All of our team members have extensive QA experience. Because we understand how you build things, we can create detailed defect reports and improve the quality and the speed of our bug reports.

+QA has two teams available to test around the clock: one team located in the United States, and a second team located in Asia. This allows us to accelerate the testing process and help your project to be tested and delivered on time.

TOOLS
Our secure web-based Bug tracking system allows us to report, track and solve bugs found during the QA phase. The benefits of using our Web Bug Tool is the capability to report detailed descriptions and join a screenshot to each individual defect. This type of tool will save your development team hours of work trying to reproduce a bug and trying to isolate and fix it. Once a fixed bug reappears it will a be a matter of a couple minutes to find the defect inside the database and the initial solution for the bug.

For products and registered marks we also offer our clients a brand name database to quickly search for trademarked and/or registered product names.

PROCESS
Our QA process will vary on the nature of your project whether it is a web site, web banner, newsletter, shopping cart, user content management or publishing tool.

Once you have a list of requirements, we will take part in your project by reviewing, analyzing and establishing a test plan. Then we will prepare test cases and establish a test matrix according to your target audience.

If you would like more information about our QA process, or if you would like to receive our QA Client Guide, please contact us today!

DOCUMENTATION
Prior to every project we review all the documentation related to the project. We establish a test plan that includes a test schedule, estimated test effort, and then create test cases from the project requirements. Throughout the project we keep the project team informed of the work progress and work closely with your management, design and development team to deliver a high-quality product to your client.

SAVE TIME AND MONEY
Many Interactive companies do not have a QA cycle integrated in their projects. This is due to the fact that often times, the developer and/or the project manager will review and test the web site. In this case, once the project is released, there is high probability that the client will contact you to report a list of bugs found. One of the advantages of QA is to bring expertise in testing, save time to your developer and your project manager, and also to help you deliver high quality products to the market.

With the addition of browsers available and the emergence and the increasing number of Mac users, you can’t only test your web site on Internet Explorer on Windows, or Safari on Mac OS. We will do it all and we will do it right!

OUR QA LAB
We have multiple test machines with operating systems such as: Windows, Mac, and Linux. We prepare test materials and make clean installations before the project kick-off and during the QA phase.

All interactive projects go through a thorough check on the latest operating systems: Mac, Windows and Linux. If your project requires testing on older operating systems we also have those available for Mac and Windows.

Prior to every project, we will meet with the project team in order to define and analyze the profile of the end user and then decide what platforms and browsers the project should be tested in.
