TEST LAB
PLUSQA’s headquarter is located in Portland, Oregon and all our team works locally. All the testing we do is done manually. We can test on any Windows OS version or MAC OS version from 10.3 to 10.7. We do not use emulation tools or virtual machines in order to ensure we duplicate as much as possible the real end user settings.
This applies when we test on Windows and MAC desktop platforms and also on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. We have a full range of iOS and Android devices.

TOOLS
Our secure web-based Bug tracking system allows us to report, track and help the development team to solve bugs found during the QA phase. The benefits of using our Web Bug Tool is having the capability to report detailed descriptions and attach a screenshot to each individual defect. This type of tool will save your development team hours of work trying to reproduce a bug and trying to isolate and fix it. Once a fixed bug reappears it will be just a matter of a couple minutes to find the defect inside the database and the initial solution for the bug.
Our team is also used to working with our clients’ web tracking tools. We have experience in using tools such as Bugzilla, Lighthouse, and Jira.

QA PROCESS
Our QA process varies depending on the nature of your project whether it is a web site, a mobile application, shopping cart, user content management or publishing tool.
Once you are ready to start a project we will work with your team to implement a QA process and create a plan according to the size and the complexity of your project. We will act as your internal QA department by providing test plans, and test scripts. We will take an active part in your project by reviewing, analyzing and establishing a test plan. Then we will prepare test cases and establish a test matrix according to your target audience.

Many Interactive companies do not have a QA cycle integrated in their projects. This is due to the fact that often times, the developer and/or the project manager will review and test the web site on their own. In this case, once the project is released, there is high probability that the client will contact you to report a list of bugs found. | DOCUMENTATION Prior to every project we review all the documentation related to the project. We establish a test plan that includes a test schedule, estimated test effort, and then create test cases from the project requirements. Throughout the project we keep the project team informed of the work progress and work closely with your management, design and development team to deliver a high-quality product to your client. |

| OUR QA LAB We have multiple test machines with operating systems such as: Windows, Mac, and Linux. We do not perform our testing on virtual PC. We prepare test materials and make clean installations before the project kick-off and during the QA phase. All interactive projects go through a thorough check on the latest operating systems: Mac, Windows and Linux. Prior to every project, we will meet with the project team in order to define and analyze the profile of the end user, and then decide what platform and browsers the project should be tested in. |
